What’s under the hood
This thing is wired for industrial work: it runs on 400V and pumps out 2500W. That voltage keeps the current manageable for most plant power setups. And the wattage? It gives you the muscle to heat a specific spot fast. The tube is 300mm long, and that matters. It focuses the radiant heat into a tight zone, instead of letting it spill out where you don’t need it.
The build that takes a punch
Inside, you’ve got a quartz tube holding the halogen lamp. We chose it because it stays steady, even when you’re switching the heat on and off again and again. The shortwave infrared profile hits almost instantly, turning electricity into heat with hardly any waiting. And the R7s connector isn’t just a convenience. It locks the tube in place and keeps the connection solid, so you get fewer flickers and fewer hot spots at the ends. The coating is there to manage heat and shield the element, so the whole unit can take a beating without giving up early.
Where it shines—and how to use it safely
Mount it on a wall or a bracket, and you’ve got a direct, line-of-sight heat source you can aim like a spotlight. This is the setup you want when you need heat-up that’s quick, control that’s repeatable, and an install that doesn’t eat up floor space. Now, here’s the part you’ve got to respect: with 2500W packed into a focused beam, you need proper cooling and clearance. Treat it like any serious heat tool. Vent the area, and keep anything flammable out of the beam.
