It creates a specific kind of radiation that doesn&amp;rsquo;t linger in the room; it just travels until it hits something—like you.&#xA;It&amp;rsquo;s a lot of power packed into a tiny space. We had to do this because tiled walls and concrete floors act like giant sponges, sucking the heat out of a room. The only way to beat a &amp;ldquo;heat sink&amp;rdquo; like that is to hit the user with a concentrated burst of warmth.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The nitty-gritty stuff&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use halogen-filled tubes because they last longer and can handle much higher temperatures without burning out.
