Same wattage, same look, same promises. But here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: the real difference doesn&amp;rsquo;t show up on a piece of paper. It shows up five years from now when a heating element finally burns out.&#xA;With most units, you&amp;rsquo;re stuck with a sealed chassis. When one part dies, the whole thing is basically trash. You scrap the entire fixture and start over. We thought that was a waste, so we did it differently.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The &amp;ldquo;Drop-In&amp;rdquo; Secret&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We went with a modular design. Instead of soldering wires or tearing apart a waterproof housing just to fix one part, our infrared tubes are simple drop-in replacements.&#xA;The tube just slides into a bracket. You pull the old one out, pop a new one in, and you&amp;rsquo;re back in business in a few minutes. It&amp;rsquo;s fast. Really fast. And it means you aren&amp;rsquo;t spending a fortune replacing hardware that still works just because one tube gave up.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Battle Between Water and Heat&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Waterproofing is a tricky balancing act. You have to keep the rain out, but if you seal it &lt;em&gt;too&lt;/em&gt; tight, the internal electronics can&amp;rsquo;t breathe and they&amp;rsquo;ll overheat.&#xA;To fix this, we use IP-rated seals where the wires go in, but we kept the chassis vented. It lets the air flow through while keeping the rain where it belongs—outside.&#xA;And since these live outdoors, we used quartz glass with a special coating. It keeps salt air and humidity from eating away at the surface, which is a huge deal if you&amp;rsquo;re anywhere near the coast.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Now, making things modular isn&amp;rsquo;t &amp;ldquo;free.&amp;rdquo; It requires a lot more precision. Since the tube isn&amp;rsquo;t permanently fused to the frame, the brackets have to be spot-on. If there&amp;rsquo;s any wiggle room, the vibration can actually crack the tube when it heats up and cools down.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we use reinforced alloys for the clips. They hold tight, year after year, so the tube stays exactly where it needs to be.&#xA;It&amp;rsquo;s a much simpler way to handle things. Just keep a few spare tubes in your storage closet, and you can refresh your entire setup without ever having to buy a new housing again.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
