What matters under the hood We’re running short-wave infrared emitters with quartz tubes, sized to match the Husky oven zones. Each emitter is 230V/460V and draws the same wattage as the original, so the control system doesn’t see a change. The R7s connectors plug straight in, and the mounting dimensions line up with the OEM layout. That keeps the temperature profile stable across the preform neck and body—exactly what you need for consistent stretch blow molding. Here’s why it works in practice. The emitters heat faster and hold setpoint with less overshoot, so energy use drops and the oven comes up to temperature quicker after startup. Preform heating stabilizes, and you see fewer thin spots and stress marks. Maintenance gets easier, too—our tubes are rated for 5,000+ hours, and the 1:1 fit means you can swap them without re-engineering the tunnel. A couple of things to watch for. Plug-and-play only happens when the oven voltage, wattage, and connector types match the machine spec.
