We built this ceramic infrared heater around a medium-wave emitter that comes on fast without chasing the temperature all over the place. In a typical 240V countertop display case, it recovers quickly after the door opens, so the cabinet temp doesn’t dive and then scramble. The fine print
This heater is for food warming in display cabinets, not for direct-contact cooking or high-heat baking chambers. Match the heater to the cabinet size and insulation, and double-check clearances to pans and shelves so you don’t cook nearby components. Installation is straightforward, but it still needs a dedicated circuit and solid mounting so the emitter stays aligned with the warming zone.
